A Kind of Immortality

I'm writing to share the latest episode of The Detour, "A Kind of Immortality." In this episode we explore memory -- civic memory and personal memory and how much we need it and how unreliable it is and what it all means -- with Sallie Tisdale and Paul Susi. Paul Susi is a community activist, educator, and performing artist based in Portland, and Sallie Tisdale is the author of several books, including Advice for Future Corpses, Stepping Westward, and the essay collection Violation.
