Epiosde 131 - Strong White Male

<< Mating Calls

It's the last Monday of March and on today’s episode of Mating Calls The Jerk will be rounding out Women's History Month with a bang. Unfortunately urgent matters and time sensitive themes demanded we buck the last few year's trend of playing nothing but femme artists in the month of March, so on today’s show The Jerk will attempt to right this wrong and repair our show’s relationship with women.

Tune in for 2 hours celebrating the wonderful world of lo-fi, noisy, punk and otherwise off-kilter women of the music industry. The Jerk will also be providing unfiltered commentary on incel culture, misogynistic extremism and domestic labor that his unearned and gendered power demands you listen to. Artists include Linda Smith, Vivien Goldman, Ann Magnuson, Neo Boys, U.S. Girls, Hermine, and many, many more.
