BACKFENCE Unhinged: Joey Salmon

EPISODE 26: JOEY SLAMON
Life with a toddler who is a runner is wild! Joey tells the hilarious story of Catch Me if You Can with her son breaking loose in a big winding museum.
Joey Slamon has written on shows like Arrested Development, Those Who Can't and wrote and produced I'm Sorry with Andrea Savage. She's written several features, sold several pilots and is also currently getting her Masters in Library and Information Sciences so she can talk about books for a living. She ran a storytelling show in Los Angeles for 10 years called Public School and has performed several times at BACKFENCE where, not to brag, but she won a BACKFENCE Roulette.
BACKFENCE Unhinged is a unique and delightful twist on the storytelling podcast where hosts Andrew and Frayn invite a storyteller on to share an unhinged true story. Then comes the second unhinged part – they dig in and ask questions to get into the behind-the-scenes dirt — finding intersections with some of their own personal anecdotes.
This episode was edited and produced by Julia Oppenheimer. With music created by musician and frontman for Lost Lander, Matt Sheehy. Frayn Masters is executive producer. Frayn Masters & Andrew Dickson are co-hosts and co-creators. The show was recorded at XRAY.fm — find them online or 91.1 or 107.1.
