Elation Hip Hop Festival
- 1:00pm–5:00pm Saturday, August 23, 2025
Portland’s biggest local Christian hip-hop concert in over a decade comes to White Eagle
PORTLAND, Ore. (July 24, 2025) — Portland’s top gospel rappers, spoken word poets, and DJs will come together for the first-ever Elation Hip-Hop festival on Saturday, Aug. 23, at White Eagle Saloon. The afternoon concert will inspire its audience and re-spark Portland’s Christian hip-hop scene. Headliner Braille (Bryan Winchester) began his recording career in Portland in 1996 and has been in several groups including the nationally popular Beautiful Eulogy. Co-headliner Oracle (Doug Gaither) has been a cornerstone of Portland’s Christian hip-hop scene, having released 12 projects featuring virtually every gospel rapper in the city. The lineup also includes rapper and DJ G*Natural (Jelani Greenidge) alongside both emerging and established artists.
Elation Hip-Hop 2025 is a featured concert of the 10th annual Portland Hip Hop Week founded by STARCHILE and DJ O.G. ONE. The week’s mission is to “foster a sense of community, unity, love, and respect through the celebration of togetherness” and create “an inclusive and diverse environment that uplifts and celebrates the vibrant culture of hip hop while bringing people together in a spirit of joy and connection.”
Elation Hip-Hop 2025 is sponsored by Champions Barbering Institute, Corban University, St. Andrew Nativity School, Bryan Atkinson Real Estate, and Eastside Imago Dei Community.
