Rick Mitchell

Rick Mitchell has been programming music and public affairs shows on non-commercial, community radio for more than 40 years at stations in Portland and Houston, Texas. Between 1978 and 1987, he wrote about music for the Willamette Week, the Oregon Journal and the Oregonian. He moved to Houston in 1989 to take a job as music critic at the Houston Chronicle. He and his wife Lori returned to Portland in 2017 and they are happy to be home.
