When I was eight years old, I would walk around in our backyard with an open book and imagine that it was my book, and I was reading it to an avid audience. It was great fun till an older brother saw me doing it and wanted to know what I was doing.

Duh? 

Books have always been my drug of choice (yes, I have tried a few others) but books are always the best, best, best. And I love all things connected to books. The writers (authors), the suppliers (bookstores), the dealers, like, you know, this radio station. Years ago, I learned that you could talk about a book or books on a radio show. Roped me in right there. 

So this show is about sharing what I love best; reading, writing and interviewing folks about books.
